The Assistant Technician, Weapon Production supports daily weapon assembly and cleaning activities within the company's Weapon Production Department. The role works closely with Technicians and the Weapon Production Supervisor to ensure production activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with required quality standards and SOPs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support daily weapon assembly and cleaning activities on the production floor.
- Handle, organize, and stage parts, tools, trays, and materials.
- Follow SOPs, work instructions, quality standards, and HSE requirements.
- Monitor product quality and report defects or non-conformities.
- Support basic troubleshooting and report equipment or operational issues.
- Assist with inventory checks and ensure required materials and tools are available.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Planning, and Maintenance teams as required.
- Support continuous improvement and safe working practices.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- High School qualification or equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing, production, or mechanical processes.
- Ability to follow technical instructions, SOPs, and safety procedures.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Good communication skills in English.
- Ability to work in a hands-on production environment and meet operational deadlines.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous hands-on experience in assembly, manufacturing, production, or cleaning operations.
- Exposure to small weapons, weapon assembly/cleaning, or mechanical assembly is preferred.
- Familiarity with hand tools, components, and production equipment.
- Basic understanding of quality control and production processes.
- Arabic language skills would be an advantage.
