We’re looking for a fresh graduate or early-career AI Engineer on a builder track. This role sits between software engineering and applied AI. You will build AI-powered features end-to-end, turning product problems into AI solutions, building pipelines, evaluating output, and deploying reliable services in production.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement AI-powered features and internal tools.
- Integrate models into real systems (APIs, workflows, dashboards).
- Build retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines.
- Own evaluation and define success metrics.
- Add observability and implement privacy/security controls.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex problems.
- Use AI tools thoughtfully for prototyping, debugging, and documentation.
Your Expertise:
Must Have:
- Fresh graduate or less than one year of relevant experience (internships/projects included).
- Solid programming fundamentals in Python (preferred) or another backend language.
- Strong foundations in software engineering, data handling, and ML/AI fundamentals.
- Clear communication and a collaborative approach.
Nice to Have:
- Hands-on experience with LLMs and RAG from projects.
- Familiarity with model serving, MLOps concepts, and vector databases.
- Understanding of responsible AI principles, privacy, and security.
- Experience using AI assistants for coding and analysis.
What Success Looks Like:
- Successful shipping of at least one AI feature or tool used by real users.
- Setup of a simple evaluation and monitoring loop for continual improvement.
- Balancing quality, latency, and cost in solutions with clear tradeoffs.
- Ability to debug, mitigate, and explain when AI output is incorrect or risky.
