Position

This position is for UAE Nationals only. The Associate Analyst, ADIB Ventures will assist in engaging with early-stage startups and scale-ups while working closely with all stakeholders across the Bank: Digital, Technology, Business, Support & Control functions. This role involves prioritizing and executing strategic partnership and investment opportunities aligned with our innovation roadmap. The ideal candidate will help drive delivery and implementation of new partners that can create new capabilities for ADIB and its customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partnership Pipeline Management (10%)

    • Assist the team to incubate startups to conduct proof of concepts (or Pilots) for business objective validations.
    • Work with internal teams to take qualified ideas and prototypes to market.
    • Research and prepare information to support the Partnerships and Investment pipeline with potential opportunities.
  • Collaboration and Facilitation (60%)

    • Assist with implementing a structured operating model to funnel opportunities and needs.
    • Help develop an objective scoring system to prioritize potential partners.
    • Facilitate internal discussions to ensure a coordinated approach to evaluating fintech partners.
  • Product & Portfolio Management (30%)

    • Assist in developing and maintaining the strategic roadmap for partnership prospects in the Fintech portfolio.
    • Track and document partnership progress and communicate with internal stakeholders as well as external partners.
    • Prepare pre-meeting materials to ensure productive discussions with stakeholders.

Skills Required

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively influence people at all levels.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Previous Experience

  • Basic experience in customer-facing roles with external and internal stakeholders.
  • An understanding of agile delivery and product management or partnership program management.
  • Passion for participating in fintech engagement for accelerators or enterprises.
