Responsibilities
- Provide corporate and commercial legal advice to clients, focusing on growth-stage tech companies.
- Help shape legal strategies for clients navigating the fast-paced startup environment.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor throughout various stages of their growth, from launching MVPs to securing funding rounds.
Requirements
- UK-qualified corporate/commercial lawyer (common law) with at least 2-3 years of experience at a large-scale US/UK law firm.
- Currently based in the UAE, with 1-2 years of local experience preferred.
- An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in fast-moving environments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Bonus Points
- Fundraising/venture experience.
- Cross-border advisory experience (Europe / Middle East).
- Exposure to data protection, IP, consumer law, or digital assets.
- Tech-savvy and comfortable with legal tech.
- Strong background in commercial contracts with high-growth tech clients.
