The Associate Credit Analyst works under the supervision of a senior manager and has the core responsibility to learn the skills related to the process of evaluating the creditworthiness of clients or any other external parties seeking IT services, solutions, or products on credit. This role involves supporting the analysis of financial data, credit reports, and other relevant information to determine the risk associated with extending credit terms to external parties. This role is particularly suited to UAE Nationals who are looking to develop a career in Finance, Credit Analysis, Risk Management, and Financial Operations. Recent graduates in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related disciplines are encouraged to apply.

Key responsibilities:

  • Supports the review of credit applications from prospective and existing customers.
  • Assists with analysing financial statements, credit reports and other financial information to assess customer creditworthiness and potential risk exposure.
  • Supports the evaluation of credit risk and assists with determining appropriate credit limits in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Utilises credit analysis techniques and credit scoring methodologies under supervision to support credit approval recommendations.
  • Ensures compliance with company credit policies, credit terms and governance requirements.
  • Prepares credit analysis reports, risk assessments and supporting documentation for internal stakeholders.
  • Monitors customer accounts, conducts periodic credit reviews and supports credit limit amendments where required.
  • Supports invoice creation, processing and submission activities, including customer portal uploads and related documentation requirements.
  • Assists with customer onboarding activities, including customer master data creation, maintenance and collection of required documentation.
  • Supports collections activities through customer follow-ups, invoice query resolution and coordination of outstanding payment matters.
  • Assists with maintaining accurate credit, invoicing and compliance records, including managing invoice rejections and resubmission requirements.
  • Supports preparation of credit control, collections and customer account reporting.
  • Identifies opportunities to improve credit, billing and collections processes and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Performs any other credit analysis, billing or collections-related duties as required.

Academic qualifications and certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field preferred.

Required experience:

  • Entry-level experience in Credit Analysis, Accounts Receivable, Collections, Finance Operations, or a related finance role is preferred.
  • Experience working with financial systems, accounting software or ERP platforms is advantageous.
  • Exposure to invoicing, customer onboarding, collections, or credit control activities would be beneficial.
  • Basic experience working with corporate customers within a professional services, technology, or multinational environment is preferred.
