Your Role and Responsibilities
As an IBM Consulting Associate, you will work with the latest technologies and collaborate with team members to create real impact for our clients and the greater world. You will have the opportunity to bring innovative ideas forward, put your transferable skills to work, and develop and learn new skills that will support your career growth. During your Associate experience, you will be responsible for:
- Participating on a consulting project or initiative and experience first-hand how we help transform our clients business
- Working closely with clients to understand their industry, challenges, and goals, and developing tailored solutions to help them achieve their objectives
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement business solutions that drive business outcomes
- Focus on our clients’ technical and business needs to co-create solutions that add value
- Continuously learning and developing your skills and knowledge to stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Strong academic background and PHD or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or Engineering, and a passion for technology
- Familiarity with various machine learning algorithms and techniques
- Proficiency in languages like Python or R for data manipulation and modelling
- Ability to create compelling visualizations using libraries like Matplotlib, Jupiter notebook or Tableau
- Basic understanding of data extraction and transformation (SQL)
- Awareness of data ethics and privacy regulations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Good understanding of statistical concepts and hypothesis testing to conduct statistical analysis
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate and work effectively with individuals, building strong relationships to achieve positive outcomes
- Soft skills including attention to detail, time management, adaptability, and willingness to learn
- Fluent in all aspects of English and Arabic communication
- KSA national and eligible to work for 12 months starting September 2024.
