Location: Zayed Military City, Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates
Job Type: On-site, Full-time, 6-Month Contract
Experience Required: 3–5 years with SQL Server / Oracle Databases and WebLogic / IIS Servers

Key Responsibilities:

Managerial Responsibilities:

  • Maintain awareness of the strategy planning process and knowledge of KPI requirements.
  • Achieve functional goals and objectives.

Functional Responsibilities:

  • Assist in routine database maintenance tasks, including backups and restores, ensuring data integrity and availability.
  • Monitor database performance metrics under the supervision of senior DBAs.
  • Identify performance bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
  • Assist with data import and export processes for database updates and migrations.
  • Follow DBA guidelines for change management and incident tracking.
  • Learn and apply best practices in database security and integrity.
  • Perform additional duties as requested by the reporting manager.

Organizational Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to functional policies and procedures.
  • Participate in audits of established policies.
  • Support management reporting and highlight quality issues.
  • Execute change management activities as needed.
  • Identify technology-related needs to drive automation.
