Key Responsibilities
- Actively collaborate with deal teams on WBG transactions, ensuring timely and efficient closure and execution.
- Conduct thorough financial analysis, market research, and due diligence to support credit decisions.
- Negotiate terms and conditions, ensuring alignment with bank profitability and risk appetite.
- Stay updated on market trends and industry developments relevant to the client segment.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with high-value corporate and institutional clients, achieving a high degree of customer satisfaction in annual client survey reports.
- Originate and execute new business opportunities, exceeding assigned revenue targets.
- Support clients in their day-to-day banking business; liaise with support functions to ensure smooth business operations and serve as a point of escalation for clients regarding operational matters.
- Increase share of wallet and cross-sell by broadening the number of investment banking products and other opportunities available through additional business verticals such as employee banking and payments.
- Assist clients in the proactive planning and submission of Global Key Account Plans for key clients.
- Understand and prepare risk-adjusted return metrics using the RAROC (Risk Adjusted Return on Capital) calculator.
- Collect necessary data for Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) ratings of relationships according to bank policy.
- Ensure all client files/documents are properly maintained and filed with CAD, LPM, etc.
- Take ownership of and complete all KYC processes for new and renewed accounts within standard turnaround times.
- Support senior executives in day-to-day administrative and transactional activities in client management, including client calls, documentation follow-up, pipeline updates, and other activities to ensure continuity of work and high-quality outputs.
- Adhere strictly to credit policies, standard operating procedures, and maintain strong risk management practices.
- Monitor portfolio performance and proactively identify potential credit risks, taking necessary corrective actions.
- Assist in preparing timely and accurate statements and reports to meet unit requirements and standards.
- Operate within the framework of Group policies and organizational governance frameworks.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or a related discipline.
- 5-7 years of corporate or wholesale banking experience.
- Strong knowledge of wholesale banking and corporate banking products and business strategies.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders within the bank to drive business.
- Ability to work under pressure and quickly adapt to changing priorities.
- Proficient in credit and financial analysis.
- Computer proficiency with data analysis and financial modeling skills.
- Strong analytical and research capabilities.
- Knowledge of credit analysis and foreign exchange (FOREX) skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
