About the Job:
The Associate Director will be responsible for proactively managing the credit risk (monitoring and analysis) of a portfolio of Global Banking accounts in close coordination with the originating deal team. Key responsibilities include supporting the management of the GB loan portfolio returns, monitoring credit grades, and conducting thorough credit analysis of GCM accounts. The role involves ensuring optimal performance by analyzing risk/return, providing timely recommendations for credit adjustments, and collaborating closely with various teams to protect the credit risk profile of the portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy: Manage GB loan portfolio returns by minimizing expected credit losses (ECLs). Monitor and recommend necessary credit grade adjustments; ensure loss given default (LGD) benefits align with origination expectations.
  • Business: Conduct timely and comprehensive credit analysis through renewals, reporting, and documentation. Recommend actions for credit risk management and support transaction structuring.
  • Processes: Regularly monitor, review, and report on portfolio covenants. Respond promptly to internal queries and ensure accurate maintenance of credit files.
  • Risk Management: Evaluate risks associated with various financing solutions, conduct financial analysis of complex customer bases, and comply with bank policies.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree
  • Languages: English
  • Skills and Experience: Ability to conduct credit analysis, financial evaluations, and possess strong oral and written communication skills. Proficiency in analyzing financial models and risk management practices is essential.
