Associate Director - Strategic Analytics & Insights

An exciting opportunity has been created due to the company's new strategy, as we are looking to add an Associate Director to our Strategic Analytics & Insights team based in Riyadh. The Associate Director will contribute to growing our business across core industries such as Automotive, Telecom, Finance, and Government, focusing on consumer insights, innovation, and analytics solutions. The purpose of this role is to accelerate top-line growth and deliver profitable outcomes by leveraging client-facing opportunities and helping clients achieve higher ROI through expertise in key business questions.

Responsibilities

• Business development by opening doors with new clients, understanding their business needs.
• Receiving and fully comprehending client briefs.
• Developing research design, proposals, and preparing budget/cost estimates.
• Contributing to contract negotiation processes.
• Briefing and training the execution team effectively.
• Designing questionnaires and interview/discussion guides.
• Analyzing data and synthesizing information.
• Developing conclusions and providing solid recommendations.
• Presenting and reporting on work from proposal to analysis stages.
• Evaluating and analyzing results thoroughly.
• Controlling costs and managing budgets.
• Acting as the primary liaison for clients, maintaining close relationships and communication with decision-makers.
• Gathering and consolidating useful field data, summarizing, and interpreting secondary data.
• Responsible for project management and fostering close relationships with key team members such as Analysts, Field Staff, and Administration.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of experience in a research-related field, preferably in similar roles.
• Expertise in Custom/adhoc survey-based research, particularly in consumer insights or brand-tracking solutions, customer experience, and U&A, with sector experience in Automotive, Financial, Telecom, and Government being advantageous.
• Analytical with excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills in both English and Arabic.
• Strong organizational and project management skills with great attention to detail, delivering accurate results on time.
• Exceptional client-handling skills, with an ability to connect with clients and provide added value and insights to projects.
• Proactive, creative thinker with leadership, management, and interpersonal skills; self-motivated and enthusiastic.
