Associate Engineer, Chassis

About the Role
This position is crucial for supporting the suspension development team with strong CAD knowledge to conduct package and kinematic studies for defining hardpoints and suspension parameters. The role involves close collaboration with the CAE department to optimise these hardpoints and parameters, ensuring feasibility alignment with suppliers through effective communication and verification in CAD.

Key Functional Responsibilities

• Support the development, integration, validation, and lifecycle management of suspension integration and accessories development.
• Generate concept studies for suspension systems.
• Perform package and kinematic simulations for different chassis concepts.
• Assist in Bill of Materials (BOM) and release management.
• Conduct cross-functional team alignments to establish targets.
• Provide support for accessories development, including trailer hitches, tow eyes, and jacks.

Job Requirements
Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Controls, or an equivalent engineering degree.

Experience

• Experience in automotive development.
