Associate Engineer, Civil

About the Role This position is responsible for the study, design, specification, and services related to transportation systems, which include road, rail, airport, and seaport projects. The role encompasses various aspects of civil engineering, focusing on bridges, infrastructure, drainage, underground utilities, hydrology/hydraulics, water treatment and distribution, wastewater collection and treatment, water resources and raw water supply, tunnels, and geotechnical design. Responsibilities - Evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria under direct supervision. - Make minor adaptations and modifications in the design process. - Assist in the design of larger and more complex projects with an emphasis on conventional types of plans, investigations, and surveys. - Work on assignments that include relatively few complex features for which there are established precedents. - Contribute to project tasks that indirectly impact cost containment, efficiency, profitability, or operations. Requirements - An undergraduate degree in Engineering. - Relevant experience within one functional area of civil engineering is preferable.
