Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in various trainings to improve technical skills.
  • Develop a strong understanding of chemical process fundamentals and their application to industrial processes.
  • Develop and review process simulation models using process simulation tools.
  • Perform engineering calculations, data analysis, and troubleshoot process models.
  • Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations.
  • Continuously develop knowledge in process simulation, advanced process control, digital engineering, and digitalization technologies.

Qualification and Experience

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from a reputed university.
  • Minimum GPA of 3 out of 4.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience preferred.

  • Keen interest in process modeling, simulation, automation, and digital engineering.
  • Effective communication and technical documentation skills.

Required Technical Skills
Chemical Engineering Fundamentals:

  • Strong understanding of thermodynamics, heat and material balance, fluid mechanics, heat and mass transfer, and process dynamics and control.
  • Good understanding of the dynamic behavior of process systems.
  • Knowledge of PID controllers, feedback/feedforward control, process variables, and control loops.

Process Simulation:

  • Familiarity with process simulation concepts and tools such as Aspen HYSYS, Aspen Plus, UniSim, Petro-SIM, or equivalent is advantageous.
  • Academic projects involving process simulation, modeling, optimization, or control are positively viewed.

Programming:

  • Strong programming fundamentals, with knowledge of Python and C/C++.
  • Ability to develop basic programs, algorithms, functions, and data-processing scripts.
