Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of highway engineering duties by applying basic engineering techniques for road and highway design and analyses within the road discipline.
- Work in a developmental mode under close supervision to utilize engineering theories and practices, gaining exposure to company procedures.
- Participate in a structured rotational program that includes experience in Project Controls, Procurement, and Construction Management, as well as through several disciplines in Engineering.
- Some assignments may involve the use of CAE (computer-aided engineering) and CAD (computer-aided design) applications.
- Willingness to travel or relocate to supplier, client, or construction site locations is expected.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or any relevant Engineering discipline.
- This position is aimed at fresh graduates. Any work experience in highway design/engineering is highly preferable.
- Basic engineering knowledge in other fields such as electrical, mechanical, or civil engineering is required.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Bentley Microstation/OpenRoads, as well as other PC software packages typically associated with engineering is necessary.
