Associate - IT Helpdesk Engineer

About the Job:

As an IT Helpdesk Engineer, you will play a vital role in providing first and second level support to end users and ensuring a seamless IT experience within the organization. This position requires a strong ability to handle technical issues, escalate problems when necessary, and maintain adherence to service level agreements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide first and second level support to end users.
• Escalate issues within the team as necessary.
• Perform housekeeping and network maintenance activities.
• Deploy new PCs, laptops, software, and peripheral equipment.
• Research technical solutions for department-specific applications.
• Maintain a courteous and patient demeanor with end users.
• Collaborate with team members to consistently achieve targets.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
• Experience in IT support or on a service desk/help desk is advantageous.
• Self-motivated with the ability to thrive in a progressive IT environment and adapt to new technologies.
• Strong understanding of laptops, printers, Microsoft technologies, and service desk systems.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet critical deadlines.
