RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform the administrative functions of a learning management system
- Create and manage courses in an LMS
- Enter, update, and manage training data, ensuring accuracy and consistency utilizing appropriate tools and techniques to conduct analysis.
- Enroll learners and instructors according to VE naming conventions
- Assist in archiving courses after completion of delivery
- Distribute comprehensive existing training reports as required.
Support design and development of customised systems to support processes
- Understand existing data structures for delivery systems
- Use reports and dashboards.
- Support implementation, testing and rollout.
Support training delivery, assessment and quality assurance as required
- Support VE team implementation of high-quality delivery content.
- Contribute to quality assurance activities as required
- Use standard tools to independently manage records of training activities, certifications, and compliance documentation, ensuring that all information is accurately entered, updated, and stored under supervision.
- Draft, send, and manage standard training-related communications using standard tools and templates to ensure clarity and consistency.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Preferred minimum of Bachelor degree in Multimedia, technical or education fields
- 5 years of knowledge systems experience in education and training
- Hands-on experience with implementation of learning management systems and other educational technologies at scale
- Vocationally qualified trainer, assessor and internal verifier
- Relevant IT or multimedia certifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
- Supervised use of Workflow systems (Sharepoint or similar)
- Proficiency in Learning Management Systems (Blackboard, Brightspace, Moodle or similar)
- Familiarity with working in small team, with demanding deadlines.
- High level of attention to detail.
