The role is responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's Business Continuity Management (BCM). This position ensures that the organization can effectively respond to and recover from disruptive events, minimizing the impact on operations and assets. Responsibilities include the implementation of Business Continuity Plans (BCPs), procedures, and solutions, including risk assessments, business impact analysis, and documentation aligned with IT policies and procedures to provide effective continuity or restoration of infrastructure and systems for business operations.

Responsibilities
- Support defining, approving, implementing, and maintaining BCPs to ensure readiness during disruptive incidents, enabling continued delivery of urgent activities at an acceptable pre-defined level.
- Support defining, approving, and implementing procedures for responding to disruptive incidents.
- Periodically measure and evaluate the effectiveness of BCPs.
- Maintain and keep BCPs and arrangements up to date.
- Implement, monitor, and report on the Business Continuity framework.
- Establish business systems and data backup and recovery schedules, plans, tests, and actions in accordance with company policy.
- Implement continuity and recovery plans for physical locations with critical assets, including primary and recovery sites.
- Support testing of documented continuity and recovery strategies and plans following policy.
- Report on Business Continuity plans, tests, initiatives, and actions in compliance with policy.
- Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, regulatory standards, and guidelines.
- Enforce, incorporate, and comply with all necessary controls and related information security policies and procedures within departmental operations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Tertiary-level qualification from a recognized institution.
Years & Nature of Experience
- 1 to 3 years of experience in the same or a similar domain is recommended.
- Should have been accountable for completion of assigned tasks and project work, demonstrating competence to carry out work independently.
- Experience in Disaster Recovery Planning and Business Continuity Planning is desirable.
