Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the operation and enhancement of endpoint security controls to provide robust protection against potential threats.
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to endpoint security controls to ensure minimal disruption and quick recovery.
- Installing, maintaining, and regularly monitoring endpoint security agents on servers and workstations.
- Enforcing appropriate endpoint security controls to safeguard the organization’s data and IT infrastructure.
- Configuring endpoint security controls based on industry best practices.
- Continuously improving logging, monitoring, and alerting for endpoint security controls to ensure timely detection and response to threats.
- Collaborating with end-users, cross-functional teams, and vendors to address security concerns.
- Ensuring endpoint security incidents are resolved within established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Performing other duties as assigned related to the nature of the work.
Qualifications:
- Preferred Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field.
- Certifications: CCNA Security, Security +, SANS, GIAC, or equivalent security certifications.
- Experience: 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in Endpoint Security Engineering.
- Skills: Good understanding of cybersecurity basics, different operating systems (Windows, MAC), and familiarity with security frameworks and risk-based security programs.
