Position

The Associate Manager - EndPoint Security Engineering is responsible for ensuring that the organization’s IT infrastructure is protected through effective management and optimization of endpoint security controls, including malware protection (Antivirus) and Data Loss Prevention (DLP). This role involves configuring, monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting endpoint security systems across servers and workstations to safeguard data and mitigate potential security risks.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the operation and enhancement of endpoint security controls to provide robust protection against potential threats.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to endpoint security controls to ensure minimal disruption and quick recovery.
  • Installing, maintaining, and regularly monitoring endpoint security agents on servers and workstations.
  • Enforcing appropriate endpoint security controls to safeguard the organization’s data and IT infrastructure.
  • Configuring endpoint security controls based on industry best practices.
  • Continuously improving logging, monitoring, and alerting for endpoint security controls to ensure timely detection and response to threats.
  • Collaborating with end-users, cross-functional teams, and vendors to address security concerns.
  • Ensuring endpoint security incidents are resolved within established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Performing other duties as assigned related to the nature of the work.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Certifications: CCNA Security, Security +, SANS, GIAC, or equivalent security certifications.
  • Experience: 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in Endpoint Security Engineering.
  • Skills: Good understanding of cybersecurity basics, different operating systems (Windows, MAC), and familiarity with security frameworks and risk-based security programs.
