The Flagship Builders Program is tailored for recent graduates and early-career talent with up to two years of experience. This program places you directly into high-impact roles across various domains, including Product, Engineering, and Design. You will engage immediately with meaningful challenges and grow at an accelerated pace. The program launches in January and June, providing a unique opportunity to think big and start making an impact immediately.

We seek a fresh graduate or early-career Machine Learning Engineer eager to transition ML from concept to production. This role involves working across data, modeling, and software engineering to build, deploy, and operate models that enhance customer experiences, reduce risks, and improve operational efficiencies.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and ship ML systems.
  • Develop and deploy ML models and services that solve real business challenges.
  • Write production-quality code, including tests and documentation.
  • Own the full model lifecycle, including data understanding, feature creation, training, evaluation, and iteration.
  • Set up evaluation metrics and monitor performance post-deployment.
  • Improve reliability, latency, and cost of ML models in production.
  • Implement monitoring for data drift, model drift, and key quality metrics.
  • Collaborate with data and platform teams to ensure data quality.
  • Contribute to reusable training and serving components to assist team efforts.
  • Utilize AI tools for prototyping, debugging, and documentation.

Required Qualifications:

  • Fresh graduate or less than 1 year of relevant experience (including internships).
  • Solid programming fundamentals in Python (preferred) or another language.
  • Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and ML concepts.
  • Proficient in using SQL and/or Python for data-related tasks.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a collaborative approach.
  • Clear communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with ML libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow).
  • Familiarity with model deployment patterns and MLOps concepts.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (GCP/AWS) and containerization (Docker).
  • Understanding of responsible AI and privacy issues.

Language Requirements:

  • Strong communication skills in English.
