Associate Principal Hardware & Software Test Engineer

Quality is continuously maintained during the Scaled Agile Framework development process by our Quality Management System experts.

About The Role:

• Lead and manage home (alpha) test initiatives to identify product issues early in development and assess performance under real-world conditions.
• Validate lab test outcomes against design quality for seamless integration.
• Analyze in-life product quality and other data to develop actionable insights.
• Create and maintain a quality dashboard that serves as an early indicator for software and hardware quality.
• Develop test specifications and perform requirement analytics to ensure alignment before major milestones.
• Innovate testing methodologies, including AI/ML and advanced data analytics to improve detection reliability and efficiency.
• Collaborate with various teams to integrate testing processes within the product development lifecycle.
• Report test progress and software quality status to senior stakeholders.

About You:

• Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in product quality or software testing.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related fields.
• Proficient in Python for data manipulation and statistical analysis, with hands-on experience in libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and visualization tools like Matplotlib and Seaborn.
• Experienced in building automated dashboards using Tableau or Power BI and adept in SQL for querying complex datasets.
• Strong understanding of electronics hardware interfacing with software systems, as well as knowledge of software in IoT products.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrated capability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
