About Your Role:
As an Associate Product Engineer, you will be involved in the design, development, testing, and maintenance of our software applications and infrastructure. Working alongside Senior Engineers, you will gain valuable experience and mentorship from day one by engaging in real-world projects. Your role will include collaborating with a diverse team, including engineers, designers, analysts, and product experts, to create innovative technical solutions that enhance the way millions of users shop, pay, and bank.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing and deployment.
- Ensure code quality by writing unit and integration tests and conducting code reviews.
- Enhance system performance and reliability through continuous monitoring and optimization.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to inform strategic decisions.
- Gain hands-on experience by working on impactful real-world projects from day one.
Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Prior completion of co-op and/or internship.
- Basic proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Golang, Python, or C++.
- Fundamental understanding of databases and SQL.
Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work independently.
- Effective influencing and persuasion skills, using logical and data-driven business cases.
- Develop problem-solving skills by tackling complex challenges and delivering meaningful solutions.
