About the Role
The Associate Project Commercial Support position is vital for supporting the SA 2106 GIS Business. This role involves collaborating with the Project Management team to proactively manage commercial and SAP-related transactions, enabling Project Managers (PMs) to focus on customer expectations and unit profitability.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Support project commercial activities, including coordination of Bank Guarantees and Letters of Credit.
- Prepare all commercial documents required for processing payments with banks via Letters of Credit.
- Manage SAP project initiatives by creating and updating costing information throughout the project lifespan.
- Prepare all documents and oversee the invoicing process for all projects to ensure timely completion.
- Assist the PM with necessary backup information related to commercial transactions.
- Update system data/files for revenue and payment collection management.
- Maintain detailed status updates for internal discussions with management regarding project commercial activities.
- Support PMs with invoicing reports as required.
- Ensure compliance with relevant external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
- Uphold the company’s core values of safety and integrity, taking responsibility for your actions while caring for colleagues and the business.
Your Background
- A bachelor’s degree in commerce, finance, or a related discipline is required.
- 2-7 years of experience in a project environment with direct experience in commercial documentation.
- Hands-on experience working with SAP.
- Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Arabic is required.
