The company combines construction expertise with consultancy to unlock potential in every person or project and redefine the boundaries of ambition. This position offers an opportunity to work on a large luxury-use development in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where the company is providing project management consultancy services.

This role is crucial for overseeing, monitoring, and delivering project and programme management activities for external clients. The Associate Project Director will ensure the successful completion and continuous improvement of projects through analysis and reviews that inform plans, processes, and procedures, driving efficiency and excellence across delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end project delivery from inception to post-completion, ensuring alignment with client expectations and stakeholder requirements.
  • Manage project budgets and timelines, proactively identifying risks, challenges, and mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Champion safety and wellbeing, promoting the company’s “Safety First” values and HSW framework, sharing lessons learned and best practices.
  • Drive collaboration and stakeholder engagement, managing client, consultant, and contractor teams while influencing senior external stakeholders up to C-suite level.
  • Oversee programme development, integrating design, procurement, and delivery schedules, ensuring timely sequencing and staging plans.
  • Provide subject matter expertise, supporting broader company projects, contributing to business development, bidding, reporting, and commercial strategy.
  • Lead and develop teams, managing Senior Managers, Managers, and Assistant Managers while fostering continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Embed sustainability and digital excellence, aligning delivery with net zero carbon goals, service quality, and the company’s strategic priorities.

Requirements:

  • Professional accreditation such as MCIOB, MAPM, MRICS, MICE (or local equivalent) with relevant safety certification (e.g., CSCS or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in successful construction delivery and demonstrable expertise in project management across complex programmes.
  • Degree in a related discipline or equivalent professional experience/apprenticeship, combined with strong technical knowledge and practical application.
