About the Role
In this role, you will support engineering activities across projects of varying sizes and complexities under the guidance of senior engineers. You will be responsible for completing assigned tasks in a cost-effective manner while ensuring compliance with contract specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and cybersecurity policies. Additionally, you will contribute to the engineering design process by collecting data, performing analyses, and supporting the development of technical solutions.

The work model for this role is hybrid/on-site. This position contributes to the SA-OPC Business Line within the Middle East region, supporting engineering activities and project execution while collaborating with key stakeholders, including Sales, Product Management, and Business Development teams, to deliver customer-focused solutions and achieve business objectives.

Responsibilities
You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Performing basic survey work, standard automation engineering, analysis, and basic design tasks.
  • Collecting data and supporting engineering design production.
  • Exercising judgement on limited details of work and on application of standard methods & preparing relevant documentation.
  • Supporting communication pertaining to specific assignments in meetings.
  • Participating in workshops related to engineering, design, tools, and processes.
  • Working in graphic/application engineering development in DCS.
  • Programming, implementing, testing, and documenting process control applications.
  • Understanding control narratives and P&IDs.
  • Assisting in preparing proposals/presentations of engineering projects/programs (including provision of bills of materials, estimated engineering hours, etc.).

What it Takes to Run What Runs the World

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics & Communications, or Electrical Engineering.
  • 3-5 years of experience with control systems, the company's systems preferred.
  • Must be a team player, self-motivated, quick learner, adaptable, and flexible.
  • Willingness to travel and work at sites as required, including domestic and overseas travel based on project need.
