Associate Project Manager

As a Project Manager, your primary responsibility will be to drive projects that make travel easy and safe for our customers at every step of the way, while also promoting sustainability and cultural diversity. Responsibilities:

• Managing projects: Project size will vary in scope and complexity. Manage the project throughout its life cycle - from inception through project closure. Manage change, mitigate risks, and deliver results to stakeholders and customers alike.
• Working with project teams: Complete every project through a team effort, collaborating with a diverse group of passionate professionals. Regularly track project activities against planned schedules and take corrective action in case of deviations. Communicate regularly with team members, management, stakeholders, and customers to ensure a continuous understanding and alignment on project progress.
• Working with customers: Deliver excellent customer service by proactively collaborating with customers and their teams to ensure that each project goal and objective is met with satisfaction, exceeding their needs and expectations.
• Project Management administration: Manage project documentation, including developing communication strategy plans, designing resource and project plans, providing status reports, submitting and tracking change requests, tracking risks and issues, providing variance reports, and submitting Steering Committee reports and lessons learned.
• Sustainability: Incorporate sustainability into the role by considering the long-term impacts of project outcomes during planning, and promoting sustainable behaviours among project teams by setting goals and metrics.
• Manage customer-facing projects: Collaborate and manage all customer-facing projects on the company Project Management Tool, providing consistent and accurate project information, documents, and reports in compliance with established governance to meet corporate and delivery performance objectives.
• Project profitability: Drive the profitability of projects and work with the Project Financial Controller to manage the project P&L in accordance with the Business Case.

Qualifications
Who are you

• Proven track record of managing multiple complex projects varying in size, budgets, and deliverables within a commercial environment.
• Working experience with executives and senior management.
• Ideally, experience working with IT solutions in the travel and transportation industry.
• 5-7 years of experience in project management.
• University degree.
• Formal project management training and certification - PMP is preferred.
• Strong command in Arabic and English languages.
• Willingness to travel domestically more than 75% of the time.
