The Associate Project Manager will lead the execution of medium to large GIS projects, ensuring all activities comply with Hitachi Energy's policies, contractual agreements, quality standards, and health, safety, and environmental requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute projects according to contract scope, schedule, and conditions.
  • Review sales contracts and understand their terms, including risks to margin and performance.
  • Plan, monitor, and control project activities such as scope, time, and cost.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, document lists, and maintain updates.
  • Execute processes in SAP, upholding ISO documentation standards throughout the project cycle.
  • Act as the main contact for customers regarding project issues and escalations.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through consistent interaction and build trust with clients.
  • Prepare and submit project progress reports as required by contracts.
  • Monitor change requests and manage approvals for scope changes and extensions.
  • Identify project risks proactively and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinate Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), logistics, invoicing, and project closure activities.
  • Communicate project status to internal stakeholders, ensuring compliance with regulations and procedures.

Your Background:

  • A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering is preferred.
  • 2 to 7 years of experience in executing GIS or Substation projects, including design, supply, and installation of high-voltage equipment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to negotiate and convince stakeholders.
  • Capability to work under pressure to meet project deadlines while maintaining quality and cost.
  • Knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English is required.
