Responsibilities
- Ensure products or systems meet defined quality standards and requirements.
- Perform regular inspections and execute test cases to validate functionality and performance.
- Identify, document, and track defects to ensure proper resolution.
- Support the development and maintenance of quality control processes and procedures.
- Verify fixes and conduct regression testing to confirm issue resolution.
- Maintain accurate records of test results, defects, and quality metrics.
- Assist in improving testing strategies and quality assurance practices.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and best practices.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and efficiency.
- Participate in requirement reviews to ensure testability and clarity.
- Report quality status and provide feedback to stakeholders in a timely manner.
Technical Skills
- 1+ year of experience in Software testing, or a related field.
- Experience in test case design & execution, including writing and executing manual test cases and test scenarios.
- Knowledge of bug tracking tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, or Bugzilla.
- Proficient in various software testing types including functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT testing.
- Experience with API testing using tools like Postman or REST clients.
- Basic SQL knowledge for database testing, data validation, and queries.
- Basic to intermediate experience in automation testing.
- Familiarity with test management tools like Zephyr.
- Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Experience with cross-browser and cross-platform testing.
- Mobile testing experience, specifically with Android/iOS (manual or using tools).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
