Associate Security Engineer (UAE National)

About the Job:
The company is seeking an Associate Security Engineer to assist in responding to technical support inquiries related to Network Security products, including Firewalls, email security, DLP solutions, Broadcom IGA, and Symantec EDR. The successful candidate will help analyze and troubleshoot basic technical issues under the guidance of senior engineers, document support cases, and collaborate with team members to escalate complex issues.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting in technical support inquiries related to specified security products.
• Analyzing and troubleshooting technical issues.
• Documenting support cases, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions.
• Collaborating with team members for issue escalation and learning.
• Participating in the creation and maintenance of the knowledge base for common issues and solutions.
• Staying updated on cybersecurity trends and product updates.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of network architecture, computer systems, and security protocols.
• Strong interest in cybersecurity and a desire to learn about identity management and endpoint protection.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Exposure to or interest in technologies such as:
  • Firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco)
  • Microsoft PKI (Public Key Infrastructure)
  • Email Security (Proofpoint)
  • DLP Solutions (Proofpoint and Forecpoint)
  • nCipher HSM (Hardware Security Module)
  • Tripwire Enterprise
  • Broadcom Symantec SEP, EDR, CAS
  • Broadcom IGA (CA Identity Manager Suite)
