Associate Security Engineer UAEN

As an Associate Security Engineer, you will assist in responding to technical support inquiries related to Network Security products including Firewalls, email security, DLP solutions, Broadcom IGA, and Symantec EDR among others. Your responsibilities will include analyzing and troubleshooting basic technical issues under the guidance of senior engineers and documenting support cases, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions in the ticketing system.

You will collaborate with team members to escalate complex issues and learn from their expertise. Additionally, you will participate in the creation and maintenance of a knowledge base for common issues and solutions and stay updated on cybersecurity trends and product updates to enhance your technical knowledge.

Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Work Conditions: On-site, Full-time

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of network architecture, computer systems, and security protocols.
• Strong interest in cybersecurity and eagerness to learn about identity management and endpoint protection.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Exposure to or interest in technologies such as:
  • Firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco)
  • Microsoft PKI (Public Key Infrastructure)
  • Email Security (Proofpoint)
  • DLP Solutions (Proofpoint and Forecpoint)
  • nCipher HSM (Hardware Security Module)
  • Tripwire Enterprise
  • Broadcom Symantec SEP, EDR, CAS
  • Broadcom IGA (CA Identity Manager Suite)
