The Associate Software Development Engineer - Test will assist in the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of various engineering projects. This role requires a strong technical background, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team. The Associate Engineer will contribute to the successful execution of engineering tasks and projects, ensuring adherence to quality standards and project timelines. A basic understanding of IT administrative skills, including installing various operating systems (Windows, Linux) and commissioning network devices (switches and routers), is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to senior engineers and project managers in the planning and execution of engineering projects.
- Assist in conducting research, testing, and analysis to support project requirements.
- Participate in testing and quality assurance activities to ensure products or systems meet specified requirements.
- Identify and troubleshoot technical issues during the testing phase.
- Contribute to the design and development of engineering solutions, products, or systems.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to create and modify technical drawings and documentation.
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in engineering.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
- Foster a positive team culture and communication among team members.
- Assist in implementing change management strategies and addressing team resistance to change.
Education and Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Entry-level position; relevant internships or academic projects are a plus.
