Key Responsibilities:

Data Pipeline Development:
Assist in building and maintaining ETL/ELT data pipelines using SQL, Python, and cloud-native tools. Support ingestion of structured and unstructured data from internal and external sources. Help optimize existing pipelines for speed, quality, and reliability.

Data Modelling & Storage:
Work with senior engineers to design data models, including star/snowflake schemas. Contribute to building Lakehouse on platforms like Azure, AWS, GCP, or Databricks.

Data Quality & Governance:
Implement basic data quality checks and validation rules. Support metadata management, documentation, and governance tasks. Ensure compliance with UAE data protection and security standards.

Collaboration & Support:
Work closely with data analysts, data scientists, and business teams. Help troubleshoot data pipeline issues and provide operational support. Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and team collaboration sessions.

Continuous Learning:
Stay updated with cloud technologies, big-data frameworks, and engineering best practices. Engage in internal training programs and certifications (e.g., Azure Data Engineer Associate).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
- Additional certifications in data engineering, data analytics, or Excel are a plus.
Experience:
- 0–2 years of experience in data cleansing, SQL for data analysis, and Python for data extraction and API integration.
- Experience working with Excel, Azure cloud, or database platforms is preferred.
- Exposure to corporate environments or support functions is an advantage.
Skills:
- Basic experience with SQL (joins, aggregations, functions).
- Foundational programming skills in Python.
- Understanding of data warehouse, ETL/ELT concepts, and APIs.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure preferred but AWS/GCP also valued).
- Familiarity with tools like Power BI is a plus.
