Associate Technical Professional - Electrical

About the Role This position is responsible for the study, design, specification, and services related to electrical and electronic systems. Key areas include power generation, transmission and distribution, power systems performance and control, cabling and wiring, lighting, motor control centers, communications systems, cathodic protection, grounding lightning protection, and heat tracing. The role requires working under direct supervision and performing assignments that necessitate knowledge and application of basic engineering principles. Responsibilities - Study, design, and specification of electrical and electronic systems. - Provide services related to power generation, transmission, and distribution. - Focus on cabling and wiring design, lighting, motor control centers, and communications systems. - Implement cathodic protection systems and grounding lightning protection. - Conduct heat tracing investigations and implementations. - Apply engineering principles to make selections and adapt alternatives judiciously. - Perform specific and well-defined assignments with a small impact on the organization's viability. Requirements - Undergraduate degree in Engineering is required. - Certification as an Engineer-in-Training is preferred. - Entry-level position in the engineering disciplines, suitable for recent graduates or those with limited experience.
