Atlassian JIRA Administrator

Avrioc Technologies is seeking an experienced Atlassian JIRA Administrator to join their team in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates. This on-site, full-time position involves understanding current processes, identifying gaps, gathering requirements, and developing customized applications and projects to meet organizational demands. Key responsibilities include maintaining JIRA projects, workflows, permissions, and user management in a JIRA SaaS environment, as well as managing user permissions based on project and team requirements. You will also analyze, review, and document current functionality to determine potential areas for improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand current processes and identify gaps.
• Gather requirements and develop customized applications/projects.
• Maintain JIRA projects, workflows, permissions, and user management.
• Manage user permissions based on project and team requirements.
• Analyze and document current functionality for improvement.

Qualifications/Certifications:

• Certifications related to Atlassian products (e.g., JIRA Administrator Certification) are advantageous.
• Certifications in DevOps or CI/CD practices are a plus.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a JIRA Administrator, including customizing JIRA projects with complex schemes (e.g., workflows, screen schemes, permission schemes, notification schemes).
• In-depth expertise in Atlassian suite administration, including JIRA and Confluence.
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git/GitLab or similar tools.
• Knowledge of Unix systems.
• Proven experience in performing Atlassian installations, migrations, and managing plugins along with licenses.
• Experience in creating custom dashboards in JIRA and constructing Confluence templates/pages.
• Experience supporting JIRA integrations with ITSM, monitoring technologies, and CI/CD tools.
• Coordinated with multiple product teams to implement JIRA projects.
• Experience in providing technical assistance for user administration and project archival.
• Ability to work in a dynamic agile environment.
