Key Responsibilities
Tasks may include but are not limited to:
- Supporting and managing the delivery of assigned innovation projects.
- Documenting full needs description and solution requirements.
- Actively scouting for technology and identifying and validating solutions.
- Conducting project due diligence research and documentation.
- Facilitating communication and collaboration across multiple stakeholders.
- Performing other appropriate delegated duties as required.
You will engage with a range of projects covering topics such as:
- Defining and implementing innovation strategies.
- Building capabilities using the latest methodologies on innovation, design thinking, and innovation management.
- Managing business projects with both internal stakeholders and third parties.
Qualifications
- Strong academic background (e.g. Engineering and/or Business) from a top-tier university.
- 3-5 years' experience in technology, research, or innovation environments.
- Proven experience in planning, managing, and delivering innovation and technical-based projects.
- Familiarity with formal project delivery tracking methods such as Gantt charts.
- Demonstrated experience leading and completing complex technical innovation projects.
- Ability to understand technical discussions and documentation.
- Knowledge of open innovation methodology, intellectual property, and technology scouting.
- Certification in Innovation or Future Foresight from GIMI is highly preferred.
- Business proficiency in Arabic and English is essential.
- Residence in Abu Dhabi is required.
