Automation & Functional Tester

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled QA Automation and Functional Tester with proven expertise in the Open Banking domain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing both automated and manual tests to ensure the quality, reliability, and security of our financial applications, with a strong focus on compliance with Open Banking standards (e.g., PSD2, FAPI, relevant local regulations). While Open Banking experience is preferred, it is not mandatory; any payments testing experience would be beneficial.

Key Responsibilities:

• Open Banking Domain Specific:

  • Validate compliance of APIs and user interfaces against Open Banking standards and specifications (e.g., data models, security profiles, consent flows).
  • Test key Open Banking use cases, including Account Information Services (AIS), Payment Initiation Services (PIS), and Confirmation of Funds (COF).
  • Perform testing related to OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), and Mutual TLS (mTLS) as implemented in Open Banking APIs.
  • Verify the accuracy and integrity of data sharing and customer consent mechanisms as per regulatory requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with evolving Open Banking regulations, standards, and security mandates.

• Functional Testing:

  • Analyze product requirements, user stories, and technical specifications to design comprehensive, well-structured, and maintainable test cases and test scenarios.
  • Execute manual functional, system, integration, and regression tests.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using a defect management tool (e.g., JIRA), working closely with development teams for resolution.
  • Perform backend data validation using SQL queries to ensure data integrity across various banking systems.
