We are seeking an experienced Automation Lead to spearhead the design and review of cutting-edge robotic automation solutions for the manufacturing processes of any production plant. This senior role combines technical expertise with leadership responsibilities, focusing on industrial robotic solutions that transform existing manual manufacturing processes into automation using articulated robots, motors, sensors, and actuators.
Key Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership:
- Develop and execute robotic automation strategies that enhance manufacturing productivity, quality, and safety.
- Drive client discussions to assess current processes and explore automation possibilities.
- Integrate leading technologies in automation solutions for improved accuracy.
- Connect and lead discussions with global manufacturers of robots, conveyors, and vision systems.
- Oversee assembly line automation projects from concept through implementation.

Solution Development & Management:
- Design and architect end-to-end robotic applications tailored to specific manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated automation solutions.
- Manage the complete solution lifecycle from initial consultation to deployment and post-implementation support.
- Evaluate and specify robotic systems from leading manufacturers.

Project & Team Leadership:
- Lead multidisciplinary automation engineering teams in delivering complex robotic solutions.
- Mentor senior automation engineers and foster technical expertise within the team.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in automation processes.

Technical Expertise:
- Stay current with emerging automation technologies and industry best practices.
- Analyze manufacturing processes to identify automation opportunities and develop optimized robotic solutions.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements.
Required Qualifications:

Experience & Background:
- 10-12 years of progressive experience in industrial automation and robotics.
- Proven track record in leading robotic automation projects in manufacturing environments.
- Strong background in assembly line automation and robotic application development.

Technical Skills:
- Expert-level knowledge of industrial robotic systems and automation technologies.
- Proficiency in robotic programming languages and automation software platforms.
- Deep understanding of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and production optimization.

Leadership & Communication:
- Ability to lead technical teams and manage complex automation projects.
- Excellent communication skills, with experience in customer-facing roles and solution consulting.
- Strong project management skills to deliver results within time and budget constraints.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical, or Automation Engineering.
- Professional certifications in robotics or automation technologies.
- Knowledge of Industry 4.0 technologies and smart manufacturing concepts is desirable.
