Automation Service Engineer

The company is seeking an Automation Service Engineer to join our team in Dubai, UAE. In this role, you will empower our clients to maximize growth and profit opportunities while focusing on ecological sustainability. Your responsibilities will include designing, engineering, implementing, testing, and commissioning Automation Control Systems, providing service, troubleshooting, and maintenance of various systems like PCS7/DCS Systems, ESD Safety Systems, and SIMATIC S7 Safety Systems, and developing and documenting cybersecurity policies and procedures related to industrial control systems.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Design, implement, and commission PCS 7 control systems and SIMATIC S7 Safety Systems for industrial applications.
• Develop PLC programs based on schematics and customer specifications.
• Troubleshoot control loops, motor wiring, and industrial instrumentation.
• Configure and troubleshoot industrial network devices with a focus on cybersecurity best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain a holistic cybersecurity approach.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with DCS and SCADA design, programming, and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with PCS 7 Safety Systems, STEP 7, WinCC, TIA, and Safety Systems.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Fair knowledge of industrial control system cybersecurity standards.
• A valid UAE driving license and willingness to travel as required.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience in developing secure PLC and SCADA programming practices.
• Knowledge of industrial control system forensics and incident response.
• Familiarity with industrial IoT and cloud-based control system architectures.
