Automation Supervisor

Supervise day-to-day automation works at site including PLC, SCADA, DCS, and instrumentation systems. Coordinate with engineers, technicians, and subcontractors for timely execution of tasks. Ensure installation, wiring, loop checking, and commissioning activities are carried out as per drawings and standards. Monitor project progress and report status to the Project/Automation Engineer. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automation and control systems. Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and HSE requirements. Review technical documents such as P&IDs, control philosophies, I/O lists, and wiring diagrams. Support FAT, SAT, and site testing activities. Maintain records of work progress, inspections, and test results. Ensure proper allocation of manpower and materials at site.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Bachelor’s in Instrumentation, Electrical, or Automation Engineering
• 5–8 years of experience in automation works in Oil & Gas / Industrial projects
• Hands-on experience with PLC (Siemens, Allen Bradley), SCADA, DCS systems
• Good understanding of field instruments and control systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documents
• Strong leadership and coordination skills
