We are seeking an experienced Automation Test Architect to lead and enhance our quality engineering initiatives across web, mobile, and API platforms. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in automation testing, test framework design, CI/CD integration, and quality assurance best practices within Agile environments. This role is open to EU-based candidates who are willing to relocate to Abu Dhabi.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for Web, Mobile, and API testing.
- Create and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts based on business and technical requirements.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing to ensure high-quality software releases.
- Collaborate closely with product owners, developers, and business stakeholders throughout the SDLC.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and rapid delivery.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and provide detailed quality reports and metrics.
- Ensure timely defect tracking and resolution using tools such as Azure DevOps, JIRA, or similar platforms.
- Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Drive test automation best practices and mentor QA team members on automation strategies and quality processes.

Experience:
- Minimum 10+ years of overall experience in software testing and quality assurance.
- Strong hands-on experience in:
- UI Automation Testing
- Mobile Application Testing
- API Automation Testing
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience with Selenium (Mandatory).
- Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience with Appium (Mandatory).
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in Website/UI and E-commerce Mobile App Testing (Mandatory).
Technical Skills:
- Expertise in Selenium automation framework development.
- Strong experience with Appium for mobile automation testing.
- Hands-on experience in API automation testing.
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline implementation and integration.
- Knowledge of defect management and test management tools such as Azure DevOps, JIRA, etc.
- Experience with AccelQ automation platform is a strong advantage.
Domain Experience:
- Experience working in the Airline domain is preferred.
Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
- Proven ability to lead testing initiatives and drive quality excellence.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Based in Europe and willing to relocate to Abu Dhabi.
- Experienced in leading automation strategy and architecture for enterprise applications.
- Passionate about quality engineering, continuous improvement, and innovation in test automation.
Language Requirements: English proficiency is preferred.
