Automation Test Engineer

About the Job:

Virtusa is seeking an Automation Test Engineer with a strong background in software testing and automation. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and experience:

• At least 5 years of experience in software testing.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the banking sector.
• Proficiency in automation testing using tools such as Playwright or Selenium, ideally with a BDD approach.
• Strong understanding of the software development life cycle, including both development and testing phases.
• Knowledge of software testing principles, practices, processes, methods, and tools.
• Experience with technologies such as Java, Mobile, ATM, and Big Data.
• Basic experience in Agile methodologies and continuous integration.
• Familiarity with automated testing techniques using DevOps tools like Selenium, Cucumber, or UFT (QTP).
• Basic knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter and LoadRunner.
• Strong skills in script creation, execution, and analysis.
• Significant experience in Automation Framework Design.
