About the Role
As an AV Technician, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and troubleshooting all audiovisual, projection, lighting, and conferencing equipment. You will oversee the setup of AV equipment in banquet and meeting rooms, ensuring everything is fully operational. This role includes repairing or cleaning equipment as necessary, labeling any broken equipment, and communicating issues to your manager or supervisor. You will be expected to tape down and dress all loose wires and cables, check delivered equipment and room set-up against the Banquet Event Order, and communicate any changes to flowsheets. Additionally, you will assist and instruct guests on how to properly use and operate AV equipment, upsell different AV services, and monitor equipment operation at appropriate intervals. Your responsibilities also include breaking down, removing, and securing equipment when not in use, as well as adhering to the company's Visual Productions (MVP program) SOP book.

Responsibilities
- Ensure all AV equipment is fully operational and address any issues promptly.
- Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures, reporting accidents and unsafe conditions.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance, following company policies.
- Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipating and addressing any service needs.
- Maintain positive working relationships with team members and support collective goals.
- Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.
- Perform physical tasks, including reaching, grasping, lifting, and moving objects up to 50 pounds.
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
Preferred Qualifications
- Education: High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.
- Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience required.
- License or Certification: None needed.
