AV Technician

About the Role

The British International School Abu Dhabi is seeking an enthusiastic, dynamic, and skilled Audio Visual/Lighting Technician to join our team and provide high-quality technical support to staff and students across the school. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth delivery of teaching and learning, assemblies, presentations, conferences, performances, and school events, providing professional AV and lighting support from set-up through to completion.

About You

You will be a confident, creative, and technically skilled AV professional who enjoys bringing learning, performances, and events to life through technology. You will have hands-on experience with audio, lighting, projection, video, recording, and live-streaming equipment, with the ability to troubleshoot quickly and remain calm under pressure. You will be organized, reliable, and proactive, with a strong eye for detail and a commitment to delivering seamless technical experiences. You will enjoy working collaboratively with IT, Creative Arts, Facilities, staff, and students while also being confident working independently. Most importantly, you will be passionate about technology, enjoy sharing your expertise, and be keen to contribute ideas that enhance and develop AV provision across the school.

Contract and Travel Details
