AVP - Data Governance & Data Quality

The AVP - Data Governance & Data Quality role focuses on leading the Data Governance and Data Quality execution across the company, driving stakeholder accountability, and improving data trust, control, and adoption. This position serves as the primary point of coordination for Data Governance and Data Quality across business and technology domains, ensuring the adoption of policies, standards, controls, and timely remediation of data-related issues.

Key Responsibilities include leading the implementation of the Data Governance Framework across the company, driving the adoption of Data Management policies, standards, procedures, and controls, and owning the enterprise Data Quality Framework, standards, rules, controls, and monitoring processes. Additionally, this role acts as the primary contact for Data Governance and Data Quality matters across Business, Technology, Risk, Compliance, Finance, Operations, and Audit while supporting regulatory reviews, audits, assurance activities, and risk assessments related to data management.

Candidates should have 5+ years in Data Governance, Data Quality, Data Management, Risk Data, Regulatory Data, or Enterprise Information Management, with strong experience in banking, financial services, or another regulated industry. The ideal applicant will possess a proven ability to influence senior stakeholders, enforce accountability, and drive cross-functional remediation, as well as experience with governance and data quality tools such as Informatica, DEQ, Power BI/Tableau, or equivalent platforms.
