AVP - Payments Platform

The AVP - Payments Platform (LCY) will be responsible for end-to-end delivery, stability, and modernization of the company's Local Payments platforms across multiple countries. This role will carry full delivery ownership across various aspects including Country IBG implementations and rollouts, Local Payments platforms such as Cheque Clearing, ACH, RTGS, GCC RTGS, as well as regulatory, change, and modernization initiatives, focusing on production, governance, and resilience.

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess strong technical depth in .NET-based systems and database architecture (DBA-level expertise) to support informed decision-making, risk management, and effective vendor governance.

Key responsibilities include managing the payments applications team to ensure stability, monitoring, control, capacity management, and incident management; overseeing a diversified team of professionals both onshore, offshore, and outsourced for critical application delivery and support; providing effective solutions for all applications, and owning the end-to-end application deliveries.

The role also requires engaging with specific Business Segments to ensure technology needs are met, managing technology changes for cost and quality efficiency, and driving strategic vendor partnerships. Additional responsibilities encompass infrastructure, security, audit, risk, incident & SLA management, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and control requirements.

Candidates should demonstrate cross border team management experience, a strong business orientation to comprehend user requirements, exceptional organizational and leadership qualities, and possess 14+ years of experience in payments application implementations and support, along with a degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Management.
