AVP Technology - Middleware

Define and implement the bank-wide integration strategy, patterns, and best practices. Drive adoption of microservices and API-first development across business lines. Establish frameworks for technology choices, design patterns, scalability, and security in integration services with resilience as the top priority. Lead, mentor, and upskill teams in Agile engineering practices, design-driven development, and CI/CD pipelines. Collaborate with stakeholders and solution architects to validate integration requirements, designs, and timelines. Champion best practices in Agile, DevOps, and engineering quality across teams. Act as the integration SPOC in Enterprise Architecture forums (e.g., EADA), presenting designs, risks, and mitigations. Provide transparency through dashboards, metrics, and reporting to senior management and IT SteerCo. Empower the Engineering team by identifying and nurturing champions to drive and deliver innovative solutions using the latest technology stacks and leading market technologies, positioning us as industry tech leaders. Ensure consistent delivery through effective workload management, prioritization, and governance. Oversee end-to-end SDLC for integration services—design, development, testing, deployment, and support. Location: United Arab Emirates.
