About the Role
The Senior Systems Engineer – Air Warfare Centre (AWC) will support the Engineering Manager - AWC in undertaking engineering governance and updating and maintaining the engineering strategy plans, processes and procedures. This role ensures compliance with the company Corporate requirements and meeting Customer, Legislative, Regulatory, and Standard requirements for the AWC project. The Senior Systems Engineer will work in accordance with local policy to develop Engineering Requirements and undertake Governance and Assurance activities for the AWC project. Responsibilities also include supporting the development, installation & commissioning, and subsequent service management of the AWC project.

Responsibilities
- Support the Engineering Manager - AWC in engineering governance.
- Update and maintain engineering strategy plans, processes, and procedures.
- Develop Engineering Requirements and undertake Governance and Assurance activities for the AWC project.
- Generate and maintain Engineering Requirements as well as Governance and Assurance activities according to the Engineering & Maintenance Functional Governance Manual.
- Carry out requirements capture and compliance strategies for the AWC project.
- Manage configuration and change management of requirements and acceptance activities for the AWC project.
- Act as a key contributor to assurance activities within the Engineering & Maintenance function.
- Help define effective through life support solutions for the AWC project.
- Build strong relationships within SBDCP and with key customer contacts, internal, and external suppliers as required.
Job Requirements
Essential
- At least 2 years’ post-qualification experience in an engineering capacity.
- Relevant Engineering degree with honors.
- Able to maintain registration with Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE).
- Capability to obtain Security Check (SC) level clearance.
- Good understanding of Systems Engineering including requirements management, systems development, integration, and delivery.
- Innovative and capable of creating new processes and generating solutions where existing solutions do not exist.
- Understanding of Life-Cycle Management, Quality & Safety Management Systems, export controls, commercial, and procurement processes.
Desirable
- Demonstrable stakeholder management across a customer and supply chain structure.
- Influencing skills beneficial both externally and internally.
- Broad aerospace and defence company/industry knowledge.
- Familiarity with the company Saudi Arabia governance framework.
- Understanding of legislative and regulatory requirements.
- Familiarity with IKIP arrangements and integration.
- Chartered Engineer or working towards Chartership in a Professional Engineering Institution.
