Location: Houston, TX (Hybrid)
Work Conditions: Full-time, Hybrid (commutable distance to a US Delivery Center location is required), with up to 30% co-located working time at an assigned office and a maximum of 10% overnight travel for client or project purposes.
Responsibilities:
As a US Delivery Center Solution Specialist, you will:
- Consult with clients on the system design of AWS environments.
- Install, configure, automate, and monitor various Cloud Platform Services.
- Maintain multiple (DevOps) environments based on client requirements.
- Assist in system migrations and upgrades to create and deploy new cloud environments.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with AWS DevOps, Terraform, and/or automation scripting (Python, Bash, Ansible, etc.).
- Residence within a commutable distance to one of the US Delivery Center locations (Gilbert, Lake Mary, or Mechanicsburg) or Geohubs (Atlanta, Charlotte, Dallas, Houston, or Philadelphia).
Preferred:
- Understanding of AWS cloud infrastructure services (VPC, EC2, S3, EBS, EFS, ELB, IAM).
- System administration experience with Linux or Windows.
- Experience with AWS certifications (associate and professional level), RedHat Linux system administration, and HashiCorp Terraform certifications.
- Familiarity with cloud operations (backup, patching, vulnerability management) and automation tools (AWS CloudFormation, Ansible, Jenkins, Git, Gitlab).
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, AWS EKS, AWS ECS, Fargate).
Language Requirements:
Ability to communicate clearly in English.
