AWS Solutions Architect

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience

DESCRIPTION

• Help customers implement innovative cloud computing solutions and solve technical problems based on Microsoft Technology Stack
• Assist customers in understanding best practices for Microsoft technologies on AWS, migrate existing workloads, and advise on building resilient cloud architectures
• Own technical engagement and success around specific implementation projects
• Define implementation architectures, respond to RFPs, and develop expertise in AWS technologies
• Engage with other solutions architects, partner, and professional services organizations to drive large and complex sales opportunities to closure

Key job responsibilities

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent industry experience
• Three to Five years of technical pre-sales consultancy with a proven track record of designing complex Microsoft solutions
• Proven customer experience in Microsoft related technologies (Active Directory, Windows Server, and Enterprise Applications)
• Experience with migration of Data Center and cloud migration projects

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking experience
• Knowledge of SAP systems and their architecture and infrastructure needs
• Experience working with end-user or developer communities
