Responsibilities
- Build and manage Azure infrastructure, focusing on Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS) and associated networking elements.
- Utilize the BCG Platform Technology Stack including Azure Front Door, Application Gateway, and Azure API Management.
- Administer AKS clusters with a primary focus on networking, security, and scalability.
- Design and implement Azure networking solutions, including Virtual Networks, Peering, and Firewall configurations.
- Manage data services on Azure, specifically within Databricks and Azure Data Factory.
- Implement DevOps practices using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions for CI/CD processes.
- Ensure governance and operational effectiveness by optimizing cost management, incident management, and overall cloud architecture.
Key Qualifications

Mandatory Experience
- 7+ years Azure Platform Engineering experience
- 3+ years supporting production AKS environments
- Experience working in enterprise hub-spoke Azure Landing Zones
- Strong networking, API management, identity, and cloud security expertise

Azure Platform Technology Stack
- Familiarity with Azure Front Door, Azure Application Gateway (WAF), Azure API Management (APIM), and SSL/TLS certificate management
- Understanding of API routing, health probes, and backend pools

AKS Specific Skills
- Knowledge of AKS Cluster Administration, Networking, Ingress Controllers, and Autoscaling
- Expertise in Kubernetes security and container networking

Azure Networking Skills
- Experience in VNet Design, Hub-Spoke Architecture, and VNet Peering
- Proficiency in using Route Tables, Network Security Groups, and Azure Firewall

Azure Data Services Knowledge
- Proficient in administration of Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Synapse Analytics
- Work with event-driven architectures involving Cosmos DB, ADLS Gen2, and related technologies

DevOps & CI/CD
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Enterprise, and release management processes
- Ability to implement CI/CD automation strategies effectively

Governance & Operations
- Knowledge in Cost Management, Optimization, Backup, and High Availability Architecture
- Familiarity with cloud governance frameworks and production support processes
Preferred Certifications
- AZ-104 Azure Administrator
- AZ-305 Azure Solutions Architect
- AZ-400 Azure DevOps Engineer
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
