Key Responsibilities
- Design and manage enterprise hub VNets and hub-spoke Azure Landing Zones.
- Ensure effective connectivity through centralized firewall environments.
- Deliver shared services networking solutions.
- Perform routing validation and troubleshooting to maintain network integrity.
- Administer Azure Data Services, including Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Synapse Analytics.
- Manage DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps and GitHub.
- Oversee Edge & API layer services, including Azure Front Door and API Management.
- Administer Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), ensuring effective networking and security practices.
- Implement governance and operational strategies, including cost management, backup, and disaster recovery.
Requirements
- 7+ years of Azure Data Platform experience.
- Strong expertise in enterprise hub-spoke Azure Landing Zones.
- Extensive knowledge in networking, API management, identity, and cloud security.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps and GitHub.
- Understanding of microservice architecture.
Azure Networking
Mandatory Skills:
- VNet Design, Hub-Spoke Architecture, VNet Peering, Route Tables (UDR), NSG, Azure Firewall, Private DNS Zones, Private Endpoints, Service Endpoints
Expected Experience:
- Managing enterprise hub VNets

Azure Data Services Administration (Mandatory)
- Databricks Platform, Databricks Workspace Administration, Unity Catalog, Cluster Policies, Secret Scopes, Access Control Management, Databricks Networking, Delta Lake, Databricks Monitoring
- Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Synapse Analytics, Event Hub, Cosmos DB, ADLS Gen2, Azure Database for PostgreSQL
DevOps & CI/CD
- Azure DevOps, GitHub Enterprise, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps Pipelines, Release Management, Branching Strategies, CI/CD Automation
Edge & API Layer
- Azure Front Door, Azure Application Gateway (WAF), Azure API Management (APIM), API routing and path-based routing, SSL/TLS certificate management, DNS configuration and troubleshooting, API publishing and backend integrations
Required Knowledge
- Front Door → Application Gateway → APIM → AKS architecture
- Public ingress with private backend services
- Path-based routing configuration
- Health probes and backend pools
- APIM networking and private connectivity
Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
- AKS Cluster Administration, AKS Networking, Ingress Controllers, Internal Load Balancers, Private AKS Clusters, Node Pools, Autoscaling, Kubernetes Security, Secrets Management, Container Networking
Must Understand:
- Internal LoadBalancer services, Private endpoint exposure, Backend API publishing through APIM, Health endpoints, Kubernetes troubleshooting
Governance & Operations
- Cost Management & Optimization, Tagging Strategy, Backup & Disaster Recovery, High Availability Architecture, Cloud Governance Framework, Incident & Problem Management, Production Support
